My Full Story

From the Friday Night Knot to The Spiritual Roadmap

This is the story behind everything I do — and why I do it

The Friday Night Knot

I didn't find The Cunning Mask of Fear in a book or a training programme.
I found it in my body. At six years old.

I remember pushing my stomach out — trying to release the knot of anxiety that lived there. The fear was real. The danger was real. A father whose drinking and violence filled our home with a terror no child should ever know. My body was doing exactly what it was designed to do — warning me.
That knot was true. That signal was right.

But somewhere in that little girl's body and mind, alongside the fear, came a meaning
that would follow me for decades:

I am not loveable. I am not good enough. If I was — he would stop.
He will one day - I just need to hold on.

Even at 6 years old, I had an intutive insight. I would talk to him all night long, like his counsellor. I thought I was being heard. And sometimes — my lovely dad would come back. Funny, warm, dependable, smart, present. But never for long.
And never quite enough time for me.

Every Friday night the knot would arrive before he did. I would listen for the clink of bottles as he walked up the path. At first he would be fun. Then sad — and he needed me. Then came the violence with my mum. Then with me, as I got older. Then he would stop. And the cycle would begin again.

Nobody knew. You couldn't talk about it at school — I was ridiculed enough already. An only child with nobody to share it with, I carried it alone. Always hoping. Always wishing. Always believing that this time — he would change.

I kept hoping and wishing he would change
Until the day he didn't.

The Promise I Made Myself

As a child I made myself a promise — I will never be like that.
I will never let anything have that hold over me.

And yet — without understanding The Cunning Mask of Fear — the very anxiety I was trying to escape followed me into my own unhealthy coping mechanisms. Anorexia and bulimia simultaneously from the age of fourteen — lasting into my twenties.

What nobody tells you is that anxiety isn't an illness. It's ignored fear — or suppressed anger — showing up as a bodily sensation we don't want to feel. The more we silence it — through food, substances, distraction or any unhealthy coping mechanism — the louder it becomes.

These aren't character flaws or permanent identities.
They are the body's desperate attempt to silence a signal it was never taught to understand.

What you focus on gets stronger. You are not your coping mechanism. You are not your anxiety. You are not your label. You are someone who was never taught the difference between true intuition and fear's disguise — until now.

Trying to Save Him

I initially trained in business, then psychology, but soon knew this wasn’t my roadmap.

So after a brief experience with a past life regression session, I soon trained as a clinical hypnotherapist and analytical psychotherapist — in part to understand what had happened to my father. To save him.

But at the age of 26, I got the call I had feared all my life - And the grief of that - of the little girl who had spent her whole life trying to fix what she couldn't fix, who had then trained professionally to try again.

Sent me spiralling deeper still.

When I finally put up a boundary and walked away — the hardest thing I ever did — I didn't see him for six years. He ended up on the streets. And he died there.

My last memory of him was leaving me in Corfu. He had been through another treatment centre. He didn't drink the whole holiday. But as soon as he got on the plane — he drank. Because he was sad to be leaving me.

In that moment my intuition was real as I waved and watched the coach drive away.
I desperately wanted to run after him.

I knew I would never see him again.

He loved me. In his broken, ill, unable way — he loved me.
And I loved him. I always will.

My father went through treatment programme after treatment programme. Mum and I lost everything. He had support. He had love. But what he never had was someone to help him clear the root cause — to unmask the fear that was driving everything — and rewire the neural pathways that kept pulling him back. Without that — the cycle simply continued.

The Pattern I Didn't Know I Was Carrying

I also came to understand something profound about my father's downfall. On the surface it appeared that the pressure of success in London had destroyed him. But underneath — it was his own unresolved Cunning Mask of Fear, rooted in his upbringing, that the pressure had triggered.

Success became the enemy — not because of what it was, but because of what it meant to his frightened, unhealed inner world.

And without knowing it — I carried that pattern too. Not through conscious decisions, but through what showed up in my life. Glandular fever at ten — a child's body collapsing under the weight of what she was already carrying. Ill health that stopped me just as I was about to break through. Lack of money arriving precisely when success was within reach.

Each time I was about to truly fly — something would ground me.

Not bad luck. Not lack of talent or worthiness. But a deep unconscious belief — inherited from watching my father — that success leads to destruction. A loyal, frightened part of me keeping me safe from something she had witnessed destroy the person she loved most.

The Cunning Mask of Fear doesn't always show up as a decision. Sometimes it shows up as your health, your finances, your circumstances — your whole life reflecting back a belief you didn't even know you held.

The Turning Point

The turning point came through past life regression — releasing the overwhelming fear of loss and rejection at its deepest root. Through finally understanding the profound difference between feminine and masculine communication. And through learning — for the first time — to let my emotions come rather than repress them.

The anger. The tears. The resentment. The grief.

I stopped fighting them. And the faster I let them move through me — the faster I healed. The faster my life began to turn in my favour.
Or into something even better than I'd imagined.

And yet — life gave me a second chance to prove what I had learned. The Deep Dive methodology I had spent fifteen years developing — originally to help my animals — couldn't save my beloved sheep when the time came. They were my life, my work, my family. But this time was different. This time I followed my true intuition.

I released the pain the right way.

Through the very tools I now teach. My relationship transformed. The overwhelming fear of losing the person I loved most began to lift. And I stopped suppressing previous trauma through unhealthy coping — not through willpower, but through finally understanding the difference between true intuition and fear's convincing disguise.

The Spiritual Roadmap didn't just save me. It proved itself — twice.

What I Know Now

And here is what I know now — looking back across everything. Every loss. Every illness. Every heartbreak. Every time something stopped me just as I was about to fly. I can see the perfect outcome that came from every single one of them. Not immediately. Not always easily. But always — eventually — something beautiful emerged from what felt like devastation.

That is not luck. That is not coincidence. That is what happens when you follow your true Spiritual Roadmap — when you learn to feel what is real, trust what your body knows, act from genuine intuition and integrity, rather than fear's disguise, and allow life to flow in the supreme consciousness's perfect timing.

Even now — when something isn't working, when the knot arrives, when life feels impossible — I know. I know that something beautiful will eventually come from this. Not despite the difficulty. Because of it. In the supreme consciousness's time.

On my true Spiritual Roadmap.

And I want to say to that little six year old — and to every person reading this:

You understand your body. You are listening to it. What you feel is real and true.
It IS a signal worth honouring.

But not every knot means danger. Not every closing means you are unloved.

Not every fear is speaking about right now. Some of what you feel is the past — wearing its most convincing disguise in your present moment.

You understand your body. You are listening to it. What you feel is real and true.

It IS a signal worth honouring. But not every knot means danger.

Not every closing means you are unloved. Not every fear is speaking about right now. Some of what you feel is the past — wearing its most convincing disguise in your present moment.

Don’t supress what you are feeling.

Don’t use unhealthy coping mechanisms, defense mechanims.

Don’t lie or people please to keep the peace through fear of an outcome which may NEVER happen.

You are not wrong to have chosen these ways to stay safe, avoid conflict, pain.

You just didn’t know any different and have missed out on a beautiful life of flow, with honour, integrity, love and above all -

Faith In Yourself

Learning to tell the difference changed everything for me.
And it will change everything for you.
